1998 Expedition Air Ride Question
I know all about the conversions and such, but I would like to resolve this issue prior to selling it.
Here are the facts:
Let me begin by saying I know I need new front shocks.
When I start the truck in the morning the pump comes on as normal and fills the system (shocks/bags.) The pump will cycle a few times and then I will get the check suspension light. At this point I notice the rear driver side raises higher than the rest of the vehicle.
Here's where it gets a little weird. When I shut the truck off and get out, most the time the bags won't vent immediately. But if I turn the key to accessories the bags vent. Now what's even stranger is if I restart the truck after shutting it down the system will work ok. In other words, if I start it, run it until the CSL comes on, I turn the truck off, vent it by turning on the accessories and than restart it, there are times it's ok, but only until the next time I let it sit for a while.
Does this sound like a leak, bad shocks, height sensor? Anyone have the same issue?
Thanks,
Kurt
