A/C clutch doesnt disengage

I was noticing today that my ac compressor clutch doesnt disengage unless I have the air set to off.If i set it on the vent section and on heat it is still engaged.With the heat on high it is still engaged,I dont think that's normal.Any ideas?Thanks

I thought the same thing, turns out the only settings on the HVAC panel that shut off the compressor are foot only and dash vent only. All other settings run the compressor, except "off" obviously.
