How do I remove the dash trim?

i am trying to replace the drivers side a/c vent so i need to remove the dash bezel on my 05' excursion. i know most everything in a ford interior just snaps on but in my excursion the headlight/foglight switch doesnt seem to want to come out and i can't get the dash bezel off without removing the headlight switch. does anyone know how i can do this?

The entire dash bezel does pop out and working from pass to driver side just unplug all the connectors. There is enough slack in the wiring to unplug the h/l switch or if you want to remove the switch it just pops in as well. I just use a small flat blade or pick.

I will also at times take out the small vent cover on the side of the dash, that gets hidden when the door is closed. Makes it easier to reach in there and push out the hl switch.
