1964 F100 Ignition Switch Bezel Removal

Guys, quick question, I can't figure out how to get the ignition switch bezel out of the dash, the ignition switch had broken and fell out, I replaced it, but need to put it back in the dash and don't want to scar up the bezel. What's the trick to getting it out.

Is the lock cylinder out of the bezel?

yes, the entire switch just crumbled, so looking at the dash, you can see right through it hole. I have the switch just hanging from the harness at the moment, but can't seem to get the bezel out.

you might have to reach around behind the dash, push and hold whatever is left of the switch and spin the switch. it's just the switch that holds the bezel on. there's a spring in there, too. that's why you have to push it towards the dash from behind.

The switch (11572) contains a coil spring (11581), then there's a spacer (10A885) between the switch and the backside of the dash.

The cylinder (11582) must be removed first, then by pressing forward on the switch from the backside of the dash, the bezel can be removed by turning it.
