Thank you, life just isn't fair to everyone. We have lost both of our children 22 and 35, so the problems we have with this truck are really minor!
I am nothing but American through and through. Everything I buy I try to buy American. I have always bought ford trucks with few problems. But what I found out, is that when companies get so big that they loose focus on those of us who have silently supported them there is a problem. Rather than tell me that a lawyer is looking into the problem to see if they have to do anything for us is UN-American in my book. I will continue to buy American just as I will continue to support our Nation.
Goodbye
I seem to remember a guy back in 08 who had a similar experience. When he first posted everyone accused him of making it up until he proved it was true. Ford finally bought back the truck, and he bought a V10 instead of another 6.4. I hope your problems are corrected quickly. Thank goodness most 6.7s are relatively trouble free.
One has too understand that when a guy with 3 posts starts a thread like that,You have to be alittle suspicious.
I don't have a problem with being suspicious, but keeping it to yourself instead of mobbing a new member would seem to be a more neighborly way of dealing with this.
Sometimes I wonder why people are so defensive when a new member posts problems. Yes, trolls do post but not all new members who post problems are trolls. Instead of jumping to conclusions it would be wise to watch because the truth will always come to light. We are all Ford fans but dang it, sometimes they drop the ball and a piece of junk will roll off of the line. Every vehicle maker does it, but whats most important is; what they do with it when they find out that the vehicle is a piece of junk. Therefore I'm watching to see what Ford is going to do about this. For a man to pay 62K for a vehicle and it turns out to be a piece of garbage; that would **** me off and I wouldnt care what all the naysayers are saying.
As I stated in the other post, Gunny I'm sorry for the loss of your children. I will be watching your posts to see what Ford will do to make this right. Most of us are in your corner buddy.
Sorry for you loss we all will be watching this post very carefully and hopefully ford does the right thing and give you a new truck, then you will see what a great truck they are and what a great American co. Ford for is! somebody along the way screwed with your truck for sure!!!
I am deeply sorry for your loss and admit I was rude with my post, you have my deepest apology. I hope ford stands behind their warranty and fixes all the problems or rolls a new truck to your dealership. Sorry again
According to what I was told, the computer in the truck will tell the tech guy all the problems it has and have had. Shouldn't have to duplicate anything. My previous truck had a few issues and the tech people knew exactly what all the problems were, concerning drive train and electrical. Not taking away anything from the OP, but their might be more to this issue, who knows.
I just received a phone call from Ford. The problems we have experienced do not justify a new truck or a buy back! (All I ever wanted was a new ford truck) But they will repaint the hood due to the heat generated from the last problem. I knew it would be a fight when their lawyers got involved!
Thanks again for all your ideas and support
good bye

We trade our 2006 f350 4x4 dually and borrowed the rest! I wish I had my old truck back it was more reliable and in perfect shape. Meridian ford gave us high blue book. around $27,000
I'm really shocked FORD is not buying back your truck. I would have an attorney handle this and maybe go to a media/news channel. At least tell Ford thats what your intentions are. With the "heat" damage alone would be justified. Ford has a lot riding on this truck and I'm sure they don't want ANY bad publicity.
Who exactly have you been dealing with? Ford customer Service? Tech Support? President/CEO of Ford? Or just the dealership. I in my lifetime between my wife and I have Purchased over 17 NEW ford vehicles. They look me up and know who I am. I complained once about the "orange peel" on my 2007 Superduty and Ford said we will repaint the whole truck at no charge. They have always been good to me. I also, have had awesome truck and car quality. NEVER had a issue with any of those vehicles. Looks like they all can't be perfect. So far so good.My 7.3 had over 198,000 miles when traded and my 6.0 had over 80,000....
I hope all works out for you. Please keep us informed.

Don't except that answer.Be patient and keep going up the Ford ladder.
If I were you I would take the next step and talk to a lawyer, You bought a new truck and that's what you should have! Maybe that's all it would take, A call from your lawyer, like Srkr said they don't want any bad publicity on their new super duty or their 6.7 good luck and please keep us posted.
