My 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition has started chiming and displaying "door ajar" in the message center. You can't believe how annoying that is every 2-3 seconds. I had it fixed once under warranty now it's back...where the heck are the door closed sensors and are they adjustable or just replace with a new one?

 

They're built into the door latch mechanisms at the end of each door. Most people solve this problem by spraying a bunch of WD-40 into the door's latch area, then open and close the door 15 or 20 times.

Besides the front four doors, don't forget about the rear hatch and glass door latches.
