I just looked in my OG and noticed I forgot to mention that I can't run a Forced induction set up because the Racing series restricts Forced induction.
But yes I agree a Super charger would make things easy.
I hate to Say it but an LS engine is gonna be cheaper and easier to do. I dont know how the Smog legal works in your state. I know some states Like California only allow engines the were OEM for that vehicles Model year.

I don't know how you can say that when California is the home of Hot Rods. Engine swaps were quite common there for many years and I'm sure the are thousands of them still out there and legal.

Because when I was Building My 5.0 to replace my 96 3.8 I found out in Cali they only allow the same engines to be replaced by the OEM to that model year. 96 had the 4.6, they wouldnt give me the Ok I stopped building the 5.0 and sold it off.
I could of Started a new build with a 4.6 and been golden However I didnt feel like it and was getting ready to move.
