Dyno Results

Guess I can't call it the powerjoke anymore!!! Floor It Diesel brought their dyno up from Iowa so I took the opportunity to see what I have. This was mostly a Dodge convention, but we had quite a few dmaxi's and only one other Ford (03 7.3).

This was held at Modern auto performance, so they were dynoing cars in the building at the same time... cool setup! We had I would estimate 30 trucks.


And what you've been waiting for.... I rolled 493hp 1114tq!!!!!!! Still hard to wipe the smile off my face driving this thing. I was hoping for 470's... thought I was low on boost (only pushing 26-28psi) and still slammed a better number than expected! Can't wait to try and pull the boost up a few psi and get it on methanol and eventually nitrous. I've got a few duri's to chase down!

Here is the results when I had to leave. The guy right after me is a buddy from back in high school..... says he's all stock except for a bully dog and exhaust! He's full of it. haha. Second guy on the second page was a 2003 7.3 with bullydog, exhaust and intake. Not bad










Seemed like quite a few people poked there heads out to watch me run since I was one of the only ford's there, and it impressed quite a few people. The guy running the dyno said "we rarely ever get fords that run this good, whatever you did, you did it right". Even better was the size of his eyes after my first run! haha. I have to give a huge thanks once again to Mike (Ford79) for all his help on this truck, and to Ken at DPS for making some great injectors and helping me out with a few things!

Nice numbers, man!! I NEED a bottom end and more air... BADLY. I run the same size stix with Tony's tunez & a van turbo and rolled the numbers you see in my sig below.

And oh yeah, when I dyno'ed, I got told the same thing, surrounded by a bunch of Cumm-a-parts....

Those are some good numbers Mike, not too far from 500 now. You are very welcome, I'm always glad to help.

I don't know. That's probably close enough to be within the margin of error for 500.

Wonder how his idle is. And you live what, 30 minutes from Tony (15 the way you drive )?

No bottom end on your setup? Yeah I was interested on what numbers I would pull with this turbo... seems to work decent. haha..... yep, gotta love the cumm-a-parts. *******s sure do throw down big numbers though!

Yeah thats true. It would be nice to have a few hours on the dyno to try different things. Maybe once I put the meth and nitrous on i'll go hunt down a dyno and actually get some time on it.
