Have you tried cleaning the EBPS, the sensor that you referred to? Easy to do and worth a shot, the truck will shift very hard if it is disconnected or dirty, if you've never cleaned it and the tube I'd look into that before changing tuners, here's a writeup on the issue, Welcome to guzzle's Exhaust Backpressure Sensor Cleaning Maintenance Web Page

Yea, Im gonna clean it out again. I did it about a year and a half ago and didnt get much soot out of it that time. But I do know the valve is working. Its been cold in the mornings here, and my truck does the jet-engine thing while its warming up. Plus I dont get any codes while doing a KOEO or KOER test. But ill clean it anyway.

I'm not sure how the EBPS factors into the equation for the EBPV because my sensor and tube have been deleted for over a year and my EBPV still works like it should.

Huh, interesting. I guess I was thinking of the sensor as the valve

I suppose they are two different parts huh? Im smart.
