new idi cam

you guys no where i can get a more aggressive cam for my 7.3 idi i wont more power

Do a search in this forum for torquer cam. It is the only thing you will find for our IDI's.

run on over to oilburners.net and search for type4 . hes the man to talk to. you send him your cam, or a core and he grinds it down. $180 iirc but make sure you get new roller lifters for it!

chip for what? the engine isnt computer controlled. only thing the computer would do is change shift patterns on the e4od.

ya, thats not a chip, and joe tried telling me that he and someone else was trying to design the same thing. something turn the fuel up on the fly. i dont ever see anything happening since the screw rotates with the engine. if it was like a fuel adjuster on a carb then that would be easy enough. basically a underdrive unit on a electric motor but i dont see there being any functional way to do it on these ip's

you talking about the being ignorant by "rolling coal"? i agree whole heartedly. i hate seeing people smoking up a storm. its retarded. ill keep my 16mpg when hauling, and they can keep their 13mpg running empty.
