I am wanting to turn my fuel pump up on my 93 -F250 7.3L and I wanted to know what is safe to turn the pump to so i can throw some black smoke but not make my EGT too hot. I also haul lots of trailers so I know if i turn it too much it can heat up fast while towing.
And quick exhaust question, single 5 or 6 inch stack with three inch piping to the motor. Thats what im putting on there soon. Any preferences or bad ideas there
Yup, Turning the fuel up to make smoke is ignorant, wasteful and ammunition for the Enviro-***** to add more worthless engine chocking pollution devices to vehicles!
Not to mention the destruction to the motor and environment.
Those in the know look at Coal Rollers and laugh, not to mention what they say about them!
Do it at max 1 to 3 flats im really contemplating throwin some money at a in cab deal that i might coul get made to adjust it from the cab would be fun to be able to do at stop lights and so on ive just thrown it around in my head some if i did id make the kits to sell it will be a tough mod to build though but would be a idi chip tuner if you wanna say adjusted on the move gotta figure up sorta what itd cost im thinkin around 800 to get the first one made then itd be a slice of cake after that ive drew up some different designs but they are to many moving parts so its still in drawing phase
well i guess ill go with two flats then, its in the middle so that should be alright. and im getting the stack cuz my dad said i can do whatever exhaust i want as long as i do not get black soot along the truck

Then you better turn the fuel DOWN, not up ... Or you will be cleaning soot before every possibility of your pops seeing the truck!
Blindly turning the pump two flats could very well burn it down!
Got the pyro, and i worked on tuning it tonight, just one flat. smokes and doesnt get the truck dirty at all, might go up to two tomorrow and see what happens. EGT staying in the safe range

it wont be eventually ive drawn 4 different configurations but none would work like i said to many moving parts im just gunna keep braining round and sketching till i got one to test might take me lots of time but anything is possible just gotta not give up might have to do mods to the pump for it but oh well money makes stuff work and while were on this if i do make one could it be adjusted moving or only while stopped at lights and so on im not 100% sure thnks

once you get that stack on you will be washing the truck daily. i am painting my truck black so i dont have to deal with little soot bombs. Oh and either get a flapper or make something to cover the stack or get one that turns out. If it rains in there, it will make a hell of a mess. white trucks are no fun with stacks.
