That was probably one of the "crumple zones" Glen. I don't know much about the new camaro, but lots of new vehicles have those so called zones, supposed to give way and absorb the impact so there's less impact on the occupants of the vehicle.
I got an idea, Why don't peeps just pay more attention to their driving and the conditions around them. Make the roads a safer place rather than having to make the vehicles compensate for stupid people??
If it was a crumple zone. Then they will be selling ,more cars as these areas get damaged.
I think that is their thinking. Sell the crumple zones as a sasfety issue about dispersing the energy of a collision. But the damage is so extensive and costly to repair. That the owners are them looking to buy another Camero. So the manufacturer then can sell more cars as disposable cars. Get a dent throw it away and come and buy a new car from us to replace your 2010 that got a dent.
To me it's a ploy to sell more cars then.
**UPDATE** I get my truck back today. She looks sweet, they did an awesome job on it. I also got new rubber on there, and my heater blend motor was pooched so they fixed that as well. I'm not upset to give back this 2010 loaner. Its a nice truck and all, but I want my crew back again!!!
Glad to hear you got your wheels back.
When you coming Saskatoon again? Just want to see if you could do a favor for some FTE members. Me to Reg in Moosimin.
Now keep a look out for those new Dodges. They will bite you again.
I'm not sure when I'll be in s'toon again. I'm heading east for a couple weeks on tuesday, but we want to try and get there sometime soon. My wife is due with our 2nd child late december, I'm not sure if we'll get there before then or not...
