I bought this truck a little while ago, but never had the time to do any posting. It's 1951 M-1, basically stock and in not too bad of shape. Needs some interior work, but nothing major. No plans for it right now other than drive it. Hopefully the picture works.
Thanks guys. I was impressed at how well it drives with the stock steering and suspension. I was expecting to have to wrestle it down the road, but it cruises quite nice. I plan on getting rid of those nasty blueish green pinstripes come spring. There is also a few wiring issues to sort out, but nothing to serious.
It`s not at all hard to keep these old trucks on the road and trucking along, alot simpler than with the newer ones!
Sounds you have very few issues to worry about and there is something to be said for the stock suspension like in my 61 Uni body, it`s a pleasant surprise to drive when it`s in decent shape.
