hub seal ?
i feel a little silly right now. i just bought the esof reseal kit (from ed of course, thanks)and im looking at all the seals that came with it and am feeling a little intimadated by it. i understand about the first seal on the 4x4 but am lost on the rest due to me never having it apart. i am currently not experiencing problems but my driver side dial has frozen in place which tells me dirt is gettin through and i do have 40k miles and it being an 06 i figure its time to grease it all up.if any one has some direction for me i would appreciate it. thanks
also what type of graese would you recomend to regrease , i have castrol perplex red wheel bearing grease. i am not sure if its right for this application

Your seals
The big expensive looking seal is your knuckle seal, the yellow o-ring goes around the outside of the hub where it slides in, the black one goes on the locking hub and they probably gave you 2 of those. Take the locking hub apart and turn the dial all the way to the left plus 1/4" and it should come out so you can replace that seal with a generic one. You might have to soak the dial in penetrating oil overnight after you drill a hole in it to let the oil into it.
