At work we have a 99f450 that has been going through alternators and battery's like mad in the last two years. All of it was under warrenty but last week we burnt up a Napa alt in one day. So I had our mech replace all battery cables with new factory ones and he put on a Bosh alt and holy cow does it spin over fast. I am always reluctant to suggest any mods or tell the mech to spend a pile of money, I am sure they got raped on the cables but it is better than being broke down. It prob will bite me in the azz, if it burns to the ground it will be my fault.
