This truck had the HGs done 7k miles ago but unfortunately I don't think they studded it. I am looking at just an economy tune on the truck rather than going nuts. I have a Mustang to go fast in. Well, try anyway.
Gotcha. If you keep it easy you will be fine. Boost gets much over 29-30 and boom. New or not, the bolts stretch easy. 7k in you *could* one at a time and replace the bolts with studs...
I've heard it both ways. Some people say a tune and you need studs period. Some say if you are smart it will be okay.
I plan on doing a tuner at some point, and then follow it up with the other stuff when it goes boom. Then I will do gaskets and studs, egr delete, oil cooler, and a few other things.
