Did you have an intersting night last night Troy? I heard on the news about the anhydrous leak in Morris, or where you too busy with the hiccups?
Yeah there was a leak. About 10:15 the tornado sirens were going off in town and then the evacuation started. They evacuated the north side of town including us. So we headed over to my folks place and the spent the rest of the night there. They had all the roads closed to get into town about 5 miles out. There were about 6 ambulances running around town and law enforcement from 2 or 3 counties around us here helping. That is what we got from listening to the scanner anyway. Apparently the leak happend north of town as result of a farming accident is all I know as of now.

I heard the evacuated the north end, but I didn't think it would affect you.
Yeah the anhydrous cloud was hanging over the edge of town actually pretty close to our house. I would say quite a bit of the town was cleared out.
Edit: I was just reading different reports of the leak and they are saying that about 5 or 6 blocks of the town were evacuated.......I don't think so try an area 1 mile by about 1/4 mile including all the motels in town.
The fields were nice and soft the first few days of harvest. I suppose record rains in September will do that for you. I found out I could make that truck do wheelies in the field. Amazing how we were shut down last year for frost, rain and snow. This year we shut down for a few days because it was too effin hot. Gotta love MN. I managed to grease that buck the last night of harvest in the same spot I hit a deer last year during harvest. No damage to the truck last year but I broke some plastic on the bumper this year. One of our other drivers wanted the deer so he called in a tag right away and then after shift change we went back and dragged the 200lb buck 50ft out of the corn and 300ft out to the vehicles. I've never been deer hunting so it was an eye opening experience to gut a deer. It was a treat putting it on top of that Expedition too. Oh well. An exciting harvest for sure.
