Well I am going to reinforce the wood underneath then glue the rubber to it. Then I have to cut the front bar in half and stretch the rubber back under it and re-screw it down. After that some fresh caulk and done. At least that's the plan in my head! LOL
I was working on it today some. I'm somewhat confused on what front end you have. According to my system that's the front-end that has bearing systems for joints. Not an actual joint. It was hard to see in there the other day though. If that is right, it doesn't have any adjustment period. So I'm wondering what that guy actually did. Back in the day when those were common, we used to swap newer front ends in them...
What you can do is pull the cover off the top joint and see what is there. Jack up one side, pull the tire off, and then the cap. See if it is a bearing under there...
