NEED HELP

Purchased 2010 ccab about two weeks ago been having some problems with it. In the morning sometimes the keypad will not work, also when
you first drive it in the morning it will surges at about 30 mph. But tonight the cruse seem a little hard to disengage with the brake peddle and the fuel pedal stuck wide open after passed two cars it finally released
about half mile down the road glad it was a straight road. Had it in the shop this morning on the keypad and the surging but they could not find anything. And no to did it get stuck under the floor mat. Any suggestion

Yeah, I got a suggestion.

When you go back to the dealer, explain your problems a little clearer than you did here and maybe someone can better help you.

Good luck.

Sorry John I may not be as intelligent as you are, but I thought I explained it to the best of my ability. I shouldn't of asked the question on this site. I should have just went straight to the dealer. Thanks for the help.

If the brakes fail to disengage properly, you could have air in the system, from the 2010 truck probably sitting on the dealer lot for a while. Or the brake fluid could have absorbed water. Have the dealer flush it.

A stuck accelerator pedal, even if for a little while, is something to be concerned about. Definitely take it to the dealer and make them test the system.

Ignore the grammar police, they generally want to toot their own horn with their self-righteous attitude. Their opinion is not relevant to anything. Pathetic people will generally try to bring somebody down to alleviate their own patheticness.

That wasn't very nice or helpful.

Back to the problem at hand, did you mash the brake or just tap it to disengage the cruise control? Were you able to get the cruise control off by turning it off at the steering wheel control?

I am not all-knowing on these things, but I definately think there is an electronic gremlin on this rig. It could be wiring or it could be PCM. Definately get it back to the dealer and be adament about the problem and getting it fixed. If this dealership can't figure it out, then you may have to try another. There are diagnostic steps to follow by symptom as well as by trouble code. Too many techs rely too heavily on codes to diagnose when both methods should be employed. That's mostly due to the service manager or dealership owner(s) pushing the numbers more than customer satifaction.
