2011 F-250 lifting help?

Hey Y'all!I just recently ordered a new Ford F-250 and it should be here in a few weeks,I want to lift it just because I go off road every chance I get, But I have only seen the 8.5 inch on 38s don't get me wrong I love the look. But I wanna see more options. So if any of y'all could help me i'd love to know and if you have any ideas or suggestions tell me about em. Thanks.

i beleive most of the top aftermarket lift company's have kits for the 2011 already..

you just need to decide on amount of lift and budget...

I'm not really worried about the budget part I have money on the side for it already,I'm just trying to find the best one that's most durable and that's not too high.

The Icon kits are the choice here but i dont think they yet offer a full kit for the 2011 trucks yet. They do make the 2.5" leveling kit for the 11.

What do you want to do, put a 33" tire, 35", more? You want a leveling kit or an 8.5" kit, or you just want to know every manufacturer that makes a lift kit between 2" and 10" for a 2011 Super Duty?

That's the kind of answer I would give, and laugh to myself about it all day.

Ha Ha you didn't go to UGA then right?

Did you order from Akins?
BTW I'm in Flowery Branch and have gotten a couple trucks from them. My 11 came from Gwinnett Place though.

I would put an Icon leveling kit (basically a 2" lift), with Bushwacker cut-out fender flares. I would then run a 37" - 39" tire. Realize with those tires you'll likely want to re-gear the truck. I would put 4.88 - 5.13 gears with Eaton's Detroit Lockers front and rear.

I've seen a truck set up that way, online, and it was a beast.

Before anyone starts saying I'm crazy...
What's the lowest part of the vehicle if not the axles?
How much spring do you need to raise the axles? (hint, spring doesn't raise the axles)
An 8" lift doesn't get you any more ground clearance, clearance under the axles. Only tires do that.

For every inch of tire you gain .5" of ground clearance under the axle and the body. You can fit 35" tires with no lift, more than that and they start hitting the fender (but not at the top and bottom, but the rear-most edge). Trim the fenders and you can put about as big a tire on there that you want. That increases your ground clearance and keeps the entry/exit as low as possible. So, go to a 39" tire and you increase your ground clearance approximately 3" - 4" (over a stock 31" tire).

Only put a 4" lift on the truck and you really can't increase your tire size much because it still rubs the fender on the rear edge, or the bumper.

Another nice thing is Warn makes a winch mount that moves the bumper forward. It just about matches up with the cut out fender. So, you can use the Warn Hidden mount, cut out fenders and 39" tires and have all the ground clearance the 39" tire affords without making it incredibly hard to get in and out of the truck; however, if you want additional height, any lift gives you that, moving the body that much higher.
