If you can get $1100 for the dirt bike that will cover the $900 he owes you, and the $200 his brother owes you for the S-10.

Then you have the choice of giving him back the street bike or keeping it for yourself.

would a shop give the guy back any profit? Hell no! if you make a extra couple hundred in the sale of the bikes that will pay for all the Aggravation you had to endure.

I'd sell the bike that would bring the most money ($1,100 or better) and keep the cash for wages and expenses of having to deal with the whole mess. Then I'd give him the other bike back since you've been settled up with.

You've of course got the legal right to keep and sell them both, but sell one return one will help your reputation and pay dividends in word of mouth advertising. (Just ask him to tell his friends, not his family since we're seeing a pattern here)
