I finally found some extended cab door panels for the rear. I'll post up if they fit in the next few days or so!

 

I was going to do this but decided not to. I have some 08 cc panels I will be selling. Light gray and in pretty good shape. Send me an offer if anyone wants them. I have them on the .org under the interior for sale section. My post count is much higher there.

 

Finally got around to check the fitment of the rear extended cab panels and they don't fit but it seemed like some slight modifications would make them fit.

 

I think it looks great on the doors, but when you see them next to the dash, they look out of place

 

OK guys I am in serious need of help right now... I cut my door lock connectors off on my 04 (without remote keyless entry) and i have 7 wires on each side here is what they are. Right now the unlock works but the lock doesn't and it shorted out my 08 lock switch that i had but luckily i have another one but i don't want to short it again.Below is what i have, what do i need to connect it to to make this not short? I really need to get this together, its dark now but if i ant get it together tomorrow morning i wont be able to work on it again until next Sunday which is a major PITA for me right now.

04 Drivers side
Pin 1- Illumination Ground (Black)
Pin 2- Switched common (Black)
Pin 3- Unlock (Pink/ Light Green)
Pin 4- Hot all the time (Red/Black)
Pin 5- Switch Illumination (Pink)
Pin 6- Not used
Pin 7- Lock (Pink/Yellow)
Pin 8- Ground (Black)

It seemed pretty straight forward but apparently I'm doing something wrong because I'm frying switches, the passenger side is what really confuses the f*** out of me, i had the +12v hooked up with the lock wires on both sides (PK/LG and RD/BK) and the illumination was hooked up to Pin 2 on the 08 connector (Fuse-41) then i had all the grounds tied together and the unlocks hooked up the the unlock pins on the 08 connectors.

 

I really like the mirror cover pieces with the tweets built in. Anyone know if those will fit a 01 excursion door. Would make life easy

 

they fit but they will be shorter than the stock pillar covers because the stock door panels sit lower than the 08 ones.

 

do you guys have anything on the door locks???? I just burnt out all 3 of my switches so now I need to buy 2 new ones and I don't want to burn those out as well they are $40 each....someone who is good with wiring please chime in.

 

How are you condensing the 8 factory pins into 4 pins?
