okay i have a 2000 150 4.2 5 speed 4x2.
I am looking at beefing it up some in the exhaust.
For VA laws i must keep the cat. what type of exhaust would give a low rumble, but also have it louder(not obnoxious though)?
People always say flowmasters, but with the cat they never seem loud to me.
Ive looked at flowtech redhots, but would the provide a low rumble with it just being a 4.2?

I'm going to recommend WickedFlow, here are the videos on both my rides. Both vehicles have stock cats.

Neither vehicle had any improvement in MPG, both seem to have performance gains. One the Aerostar, the gains were quite noticeable across the entire RPM range. On the Taurus, the gains are in the top end. On the Taurus, I will be getting dyno results soon. I dynoed it before.
