Interesting flash side effect
Hey guys. Before the flash update, when I used the +/- on the shifter stalk, the additional 1-6 gear display would only stay on until I turned the truck off. It would not come back on with the next startup until I activated it with the +/- again (while in D).
After the flash update, once activated, it will not go back off until I manually deactivate it. It goes off as soon as I shift into P and turn the ignition off but it comes right back on again as soon as I start the truck and shift into D. Clear as mud? As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with that and I acutally kind of like it as I like to watch the truck run through the gears. Occasionally I'll wonder which gear it's in and a quick look down satisfies the curiosity without having to activate the feature after each startup.
I have no proof that this was caused by the flash except for the before and after difference. Anybody else's do this?
