I took the ones on THIS tube off the ones holding the boots to the other parts stayed ON.

Brent, you probably stuck the pipe too far in the boot at the IC. Try pulling a little out and put more to the boot at the spider.

The stock boots have a groove that lines up with a ridge on the IC tube. You should be able to feel it when the two line up. The clamp goes between the lines on the boots which should be right over where the groove and ridge line up.

Yea I got it to seat in there and clamped between the lines. It stays good till it gets tight then when i tighten it down the clamp slides out of the lines twords theother clamp. I might take it off and unclamp the other side. Tighten it up so its not on an angle then try clamping the other bracket since its bigger.

My filter from Clay (RiffRaff) will be here tomorrow so Ill prob do it then.

Just ordered 2 new boots since mine are 10 years old anyhow.
