BBQ in Augusta, Ga 2 Oct 2010

My wife and I are hosting a BBQ for the FTE people you show up. Please see the trhead below for more info. As almost nobody has bothered to read the GA thread I put it up here hoping to get some participation.

A little far for me to drive, but that bacon explosion sounds interesting.

I made two of them at a bbq. It was very tasty to say the least.
I ate asprins for the next two days.

The only problem I have after eating 1 or 2 is finding a place that does drive thru angioplasty.LOL

I used applewood dry rub, lots of Sweet Bay Rays bbq sauce, and thick cut peppered bacon......Yummy.

I use orange juice and beer in the water pan in my smoker and I soak my wood chips ( Hickory and Apple tree) in beer for 48 hrs before using them in the smoker. Does an outstanding job.
