I am having an issue finding the damn OBD1 hookup on my 96 F250. It's not under the hood where it should be. Where the hell is it? Lol. It was made in 95 so it got OBD1. Anyone know at all? Can't fix fuel dumping issue until I can read codes.
Like I said before, its not there. The one that's there is not even an OBD2 hookup. So I don't know what the hell to do about my situation. I have the little 3 prong obd1 reader but no hookup. The only hookup for anything under the hood is a 3 inch long capped off hookup for idk what. But I know its not an OBD2 reader.
The Ford OBD1 tester is a 3 pin slot with one single pin on the side. I dug around under the dash and found an OBD2 hookup on the passenger side. Read the codes so now I can fix the broken stuff.
