AC won't shut off?
I just bought a '99 f250 and it seems that the AC will not turn off. I leave the selector on the mixed mode (feet and dash vents) and it still blows really cold, though it does get colder when I actually set the selector to AC or MAX AC. The PO did the shut off valve mod so I thought that may have something to do with it, but I noticed that after an hour of being set to vent the compressor was still dripping water under the passenger side of the truck. I searched around here but didn't find any info on this problem. All help is greatly appreciated.

so when its set to floor and dash vents the AC is on? I know its on when defrost is on, but just on mixed vent?

If you have it set to anywhere except OFF, VENT ONLY, or FLOOR ONLY, the AC is on. Those are the only three positions that the AC is not on. If it is on floor and dash the AC is on.
