Door lock problem
I have a 2008 F150 Scab XLT 5.4 4x4.
I have a python 991 installed(same as Viper 5901)
Had the alarm for about 2 months now.
About a week ago I noticed when I open the drivers door the doors automaticlly lock. It only happens when I open the door all the way, I guess theres a door trigger for open all the way.
My question is does this sound like the trucks problem or is it something with the alarm?
I want to turn this off.

I agree, all dorks should be locked up.
It sounds like your alarm has an auto unlock feature that is hooked up wrong. There are generally dozens of features like that can be enabled/disabled. On my system all the doors unlock when i shut the truck off and open the drivers door. Check out the manual and give your installer a call.
