DIY Homemade Overhead DVD Player, lots of pics
Had this planned for a while.
I did not want to pay $600+ for an OEM DVD,
so, I took my overhead rail down and installed a portable DVD player.
Next steps are to add the trim around the LCD, add audio out to the head unit, add video in for the soon to come tailgate handle back-up camera, and clean everything up overall.
This whole project cost me about $15, as I bought the DVD player broken for $5 and fixed it.
Sorry bout the crappy pics, its dark out and I used my camera phone. Will post better pics when I complete the project in the next few days.
