Here's one for ya

Just got the truck back from the dealership for an oil change and a fuel filter change. (Got to have the dealership do the work. EW, you see). Anyway the tech caught me on the way out and told me that the upper fuel filter was crushed and bits of plastic were at the bottom of the reservoir. He picked them out as best he could. Anyone hear of this before?. Now does this mean that there is a pressure imbalance somewhere ? Do I run any risks with bits of plastic entering the fuel system ?
Thanx for any help.

Is this the first time you had it done?If so i would say the owner before you didn't use ford filters.A lot of the aftermarket filters are ether to big or to small

odds are its small square plastic bits. those would come from the fuel filter stand pipe or the old filter. If its broken it should be replaced. with that said it normally will not effect operation
