Hypertech Max Energy
I know SCT is the best but I can get a Hypertech from a friend for $150. Is the Hypertech good or should I avoid this programer. Ill buy a SCT after i stud the 6.0. any one know about whats all involved with changing it to my vin#. was told i have to send it in to Hypertech.

I ran the HyperPAC and my truck did not like it. My tranny started doing some really hokey crap. Then the truck didn't wanna start. Had to unhook it and disconnect the batts a few times. I got scared of it, and ran it as a digital gauge pod until it got stolen. I don't know if the max energy can use it, but I still have the auxiliary sending unit box that will read 2 temp probes. I also have the EGT probe and assorted cables that it needs to plug into the main unit. I don't know if they work with any other Hypertech stuff, but if anyone wants the stuff get with me and I'll let it go cheap. The extra box and EGT probe cost me $400, BTW.
