What spark plugs for turbo

What spark plugs do you recomend for a turbo maybe 8-9 psi max. I will be changing the plugs and its NA right now but will install the turbo maybe in a month and dont want to change plugs again. Also will it still work good with colder plugs in NA form? Also do you think the heads spark plugs will be good with that psi and not blow out? Thanks lmk.

Subscribed. I think a smaller gap is going to be all you need, but let someone chime in who has real turbo experience

Just make sure all the threads are good. An inspection mirror is a wonderful thing.

You could always upgrade to the 2003+ 2-valve heads.

The OEM Lightning 5.4L plug is the coldest plug available for a 2V modular. It'll work fine for a N/A application. I run the copper equivalent in my Tbird.

When I was running boost through my 03 Mustang GT (2v of course) I ALWAYS ran NGK TR6 plugs - gapped at .035.
I'm pretty sure "JL" is right on - and I think the Lightning runs these.
And seeing how the heads are so similiar, I think that's the direction I would take.

ALL of the 2V's use the same plug thread, seat and reach. The only heads that do not are the SVO 2V 4.6L heads, and they use a full thread type plug with similar specs.
