Lightbulb Rear Springs

I was planning on using '75 f-250 rear springs on my '57 because they are the same width and length as the stock springs, but I realized the '75 springs are equal length from center to the eye on both sides which would move my axle off center a couple of inches because the stock springs are longer in the rear and a little shorter up front from the tie bolt. Glad I figured this out before putting it together that way. I will use the '75 front springs but will be using OEM in the back.

Yeah, that would have been a frustrating day for sure. But I think you still get an A for figuring out that you could even use the later springs for the front in the first place

1957/72 F100 2WD rear springs interchange.

24" > > eyebolt < < 28" / 2 1/4" wide.

Not only do the springs interchange...in 1965, Ford replaced B7C5560A (5 leaf) with C5TZ5560A (5 leaf).
