Think I will run up to my local NAPA store here and see if I can pick up a 6637 for a quick bolt on fix, then do something more secure.

You will need a 4'' piece of pipe about 4'' long to make it work.That is the black transition piece in the picture.

Do I need the whole kit for the 6637 (early 99 F250 SD) or just the filter and attach to my existing intake?
