I would be up for disconnecting the programmer all together if that is where the problem lies....this is a problem when I am driving the truck with no load also...boost I will have to check but I have seen it up past 40. Egt's around 850-950 @ 65 mph without towing anything (which is normal). RPM's are below 2k. Also, the defuel on the programmer reads 0 which means it doesnt have a certain point to start defueling
At 40 psi, it should have long defueled. Where is this thing getting boost from? I don't think it is accurate. At 65, I should see about 600 for egt.
Is it a programmer or a monitoring device at this time? I would disconnect it totally to test
That's what I was thinking!?!?!? It is really just a monitor for now...I mean I have it on 0 out of 3 so I would assume it is completely off but I could be mistaken???? I need to get it removed completely I guess...I don't understand the dang thing and the instruction booklet is a joke really. It may just need to be updated?? I don't know...any help would be great at this point

Bull Chit. Either your gauge is wrong or your turbo is stuck but even on a stock truck with a stuck turbo the most I have seen is 30 because it de-fuels ways before that. If your looking into modding it here is where I would put my money. 1 Gauges ditch the edge. 2. 4 inch turbo back MBRP exhaust with cat delete. 3. riffraff diesel intercooler boots. 4. some custom tunes that are meant for stock head bolts so your head gaskets will last longer look into gear head. 5. get rid of the EGR cooler and valve. 6 ARP head studs. Thats about all you need for a 6.0 to run right and strong every day.
