please help with code p0487

been getting this code with my 06 6.0 can someone help.been reading on forum about code and not getting much help.and yes i do have the bullydog.

It is a EGR code,open circuit,short to ground and short to power

I have seen issues with the b-dog giving false codes. do you get the code if not running on the bully dog?

wondering if it is a bad code associated with the tuner.everyone else on forum i can find that had this code also had the bullydog tuner,also with no visible problems with truck.but all threads end without a conclusion.

No.I only get it on the tuner.all post that i can find say code is egr throttle body.and from what i understand 06 has no egr throttle body.

the p0487 is cuased by a programer in all the trucks without a throttle blade. Or so that has been my findings up to date.
i took this from another post that I made on the very same subject.
It is in fact a b-dog issue.

please when posting codes add the discription of the dtc too. Theres alot of them for us to try to remeber.

sorry about that it is the p0487.Is that something i need to be concerned with.truck is running fine temps stay at 200 eot and 192 ect.
