Keyless entry 2000 F350
Anyone ever added keyless entry to their truck. I already have power locks, I would just like to have the keyless entry keyfob as well. I want a good Ford setup, not an aftermarket one.

I put one on my truck. It's a genuine Ford part. It sticks to the side of the truck with two sided tape, and it uses the same frequency as the fob. You will have to reset your fobs, and the keyless entry all at the same time. It's real easy, and it comes with instructions, and it's also in your owners manual. Here is who I bought mine from. Just a little side note. These work on the same frequency as the fobs. Which means if the ignition key is in the ON position, they won't work. So don't think you can get out of your truck, lock the doors, and leave it running so you can get back in. That won't work. Try using a fob with the ignition on. Doesn't even need to be running, it just needs to be on, and they won't work. I like mine. Good luck.

I don't think they are (quote OEM), but they are a genuine Ford replacement part. When you buy a brand new vehicle with the keypad, it's connected through a wiring harness. These just stick right on the side of the vehicle. It's a lot easier then trying to hard wire the factory ones. They work great. The only down side is that if the ignition is in the ON position, they won't work, just like a fob.
