Plug and play! Just need to figure out where to put it. I just velcro'd mine to the lower part of the dash near the OBD port.

Then print out the xgauge codes from their website and add different features. Use the Ford 6.0 section. Be accurate when entering the codes. Ford's are "CAN" Have fun with it!

You are welcome. It's a fun toy. I always leave ECT and EOT up and running. Then when I'm towing I add TFT (tranny temp) Then I switch to IPR and ICP for watching things. My Boost isn't working right, it goes negative around 21, so not sure why. I also check my volts every once in a while.

The website has pictures of where to mount them, there is also a mount for above the rear view mirror.

Have fun! Don't stress the ECT EOT spread unless you are running empty down the highway. From what I've heard, that is where Ford looks for the 15 degree difference.

My EBP does fine. Not sure why the boost does what it does. I can't recall my EBP readings right off hand.

Redeagle, you are right. I forgot that is how it's named. I'm thinking of changing the name to ECT.

What is better; scan gauge or edge insight? Scan gauge cost is a lot less.

Edge has a port for egt if you buy a probe. ScanGauge only reads what is in the OBD port, however, that is all you ecm/pcm's are seeing.

IMO, price is the key factor in determining which one to get. I chose the ScanGauge due to it's price and features compared to the price and features of the Edge Insight. I couldn't see paying 80 to 140% more for the Edge for monitoring the basic functions of my 6.0. Sure it's plain and simple, but that's what I like. Makes things easier inside this old head with shrinking gray matter.

As far as EGT, I can add a separate gauge for around $120, and my FP gauge should be here tomorrow.
