Id like to add to bryce ? OP, the actuall metal brackets atached to the cab of the truck.Mine has some minor damage near the base of the bracket not in the crucial area,might replace whole bracket while my cab is off frame,not sure of instalation application.are they welded?any feed back would be helpful thanks

Yes, they were welded in from the factory, and there are at least a dozen spot-welds along the sides and front. I used an air chisel to break it from the cab. I took a short cut putting mine back in and used self tapping screws ( appears to be as strong as the original and is nice and sturdy.)
hey Bryce ,Did you replace floor pans and then weld cab mounts to base of new floor pans? using self tappers to hold in place as you weld.Ill have my cab off my frame this weekend and then do better inspection.

Actually, it was the other way around for me. When i cut out the floor i left enough floorpan so that i could take out the cabmount and reinstall it without needing the piece of the floor i cut out. Than i put in the new piece of floor later. I hope this makes sense, you cant do this if the floor is completely gone.
