There is only one rubber hose on the system and that goes from the splitter block for the front disc brakes. The front disc brakes do not have any air bubbles. I have isolated it to that ABS system. When I bleed it there is so much air in that thing it looks like foam coming out of the bleeder valve.
I have installed to brake pads on the disc brakes on the front and new brake shoes and drums on the rear. The truck has an ABS system.
I have bleed the brakes using the normal method of pumping and also the vacuum method and still have a soft squishy brake peddle.
What next?
Did you also bleed the rear ABS unit that is mounted on the drivers side frame rail...follow the rear line forward, it is just aft of the exhaust manifold drivers side pipe, and has a bleeder screw forward on it
I have bled the ABS system. However, there is so much air that the fluid coming out of the bleeder valve looks like foam. I have no idea where the air is coming from. All of the connections are tight.
