I have no idea how old the brake fluid is on my 2002 F-350 but if the ATF, coolant and gear oil is any indicator it is original and I have been underwhelmed by poorly this truck brakes. Now when my tire exploded and it had to be changed there was plenty of pad left on the brakes but the fluid I am sure is too old. What is the easiest way to flush? I hear people talk about the gravity method...sounds pretty easy. Just pump out the reservoir, refill, crack a bleeder and let gravity due the rest? Should I pump the brakes to add pressure? TIA!
I just did it yesterday, the old fashoned way; from now on I will be using a power bleeder. I forgot how long it can take to flush it that way. I used a power bleeder on my Mercedes a bunch of times, works great. ATE Super Blue Dot 4 is supposed to be great, but I used some Valvoline synthetic dot 3/4 and my brake pedal is much crisper than when the old, dark, stuff was still in there. Well worth it.

I would have loved to do it that way but I can't find a power bleeder locally and it needs to be done this weekend. My folks are taking the truck camping next week so I want them to have good braking.
