Smile How to get frost plugs out?

I pulled my 302 outta my truck cause it needed a clutch and oil pan gasket, when i got it out i noticed it was leaking anti freeze around the frost plugs (correct me if my terms arent right) but i was just wondering a good way to pull them out?

Claw Bar or a bent end large screwdriver.

Now if i have the motor out would it be worth putting head gaskets in? Just to be on the safe side?

Getting them out is easy. When reinstalling, coat the perimeter of the plug with sealant and then use the largest socket you can fit inside the plug and hammer it in. IT HAS TO BE INSTALLED SQUARE.

Headgasket? I'd leave it alone if there wasn't anything wrong with 'em.
