First off, AWESOME site, 1 month lurker, first time poster. Bought me first S.D., 99.5 7.3 6spd, and dig'n it. Thanks to Clay, got me some goodies, we'll plug into my sig, as soon as i figure it out.....hpx,frx,plenums,....anyway, she runs great, i think, however, evrytime i turn ur off, the motor shakes, making the truck shake. Its a trip. Looked at some of the mounts, dont seem to be broke, so not sure where to go. Did the G.P/Inj volt test, all is good, hpx,frx are installed, not sure if thats contibuting, also the truck has an 1.0a/r, is that stock?
Today, my gauges should be in, so those will be installed along with the plenums and new wicked wheel, if i dont get to stoked, i'll remember to take pics, along the way.
Anyway, thanks again for any help/direction, and again, bi$%^'n site!
Welcome to FTE.
Don't worry about the shaking, the diesel engine has 400 psi compression and you are going to feel it as that 900lb engine comes to rest.
Yeah, i took that into consideration, but my buddy gots an auto and comparing to his truck, mine turns off with more of a shake. I dunno, maybe trip'n on it. I'll look more this weekend, when install'n more goodies. Tell you what though, got bit hard, with the "goody" bug, but its a blast. Sure you'll see more of my orders soon.
Any insight on trans temp sensor location, for a manual tranning? Got the egt location down, even though, still lil stressed about, making sure i get ALL the shavings from the manifold. Boost side, i'm going into my AIH delete plug.

There's a test port on the side of the transmission. The temp sensor just plugs in right there. Super easy.

Actually, the shavings aren't a big deal. Drill, tap, install probe, and start the engine once you get everything hooked up. Any shavings will simply blow past the exhaust side of the turbo. Most shavings fall out anyway when drilling and tapping, since it's just following gravity down.
NICE!!! Alright then, just need tomorrow afternoon to get here. Got me a few bottles of foamy degreaser and simple green. Not sure WHERE the PO went bombing around in, but engine all dusted up and belly of truck is PACKED with mud. Was a youngster i bought it from, him/family fell on hard times and his Dad thought, life was better on the "other' side.
Life of me, cant find the "sig" location to post up my parts..etc Thanks again, guys.

Welcome and congrats on the new found PMS.
You need to be over 25 post to get the sig option in the "User CP". Keep posting and you will have the 25 in no time.
Welcome! and I have noticed that manual trannys feel like they shake a bit more on the shut off. Not a big deal though. If your mounts are good then you should be fine. Like they said. Holding 900 pounds in one place is not easy! Not to mention if it didn't have any play, things would start to break quickly.
I figure, and only speaking for myself, but hate, unfinished thread.
So, got my goodies in....wicked wheel, gutted the pedestal and ebpv, plenums and pyro, boost, and since, with a handshaker, and just filled up tranny with amsoil syn, didnt want to lose that oil, to tap out the drain plug, for my tranny temp gauge, so i installed it, into my DIY coolant filtration deal. Tell you what man, if i'd had injested a quarter, think it would've came out being 2 dimes and a nickel...attempting to drill the manifold for the egt, whatta pucker that wuz, but so far so good (knock on wood)....props forum.
