FRX question

Hello all, have a 2001 f-350 with 235,000 miles. 6637 intake, new ebpv and tube is all I have done to it so far. Just orderded from Clay intercooler boots/plenum inserts, frx kit, hpx kit and ccv kit. My question is I see the frx comes with three springs for different fuel pressure, which one shoul I be using? Thanks guys.

I used the black one and someone from the first STTD got my gold one.

The gold one is the most common one to use and usually puts the pressure right in the "sweet spot".

I had the same issue so I hit Clay up on face book and he told me the same thing as here, the gold one! Installing mine this weekend.

today i rebuilt my fuel bowl with a diesel o rings kit and installed the Frx from riffraff. I also chose the gold spring, I have not got it back in the truck but i hope to have everything back together here in the next week. I have everything on top of engine removed for rebuilding or upgrading.

What is "the sweet spot"? My fuel system is bone stock and I'm at 72psi in the drive way and 58 psi at wide open throttle

Gold spring installed a few thousand miles ago, stock injectors. No problems at all.

Found a box with yellow tape on it outside the shop yesterday, wasn't planning on it arriving till later in the week(thanks Clay, super fast shipping), decided to tear into it today. Pulled the spider and intercooler pipes to replace the boots, installed plenum inserts, FRX (used the gold spring, thanks guys), installed the HPX and did some painting. After clearing the air out of the system for a few miles the truck really takes off now. Seems to start alot easier and definatly has some more get up and go. Hate this site, but love it at the same time. Prior to this truck two years ago, I was a guy that never even changed his own oil, now I get ideas on this forum, watch a few youtube videos and think I am a diesel mechanic. Six hours start to finish for a very novice guy. Next the tank comes out for the hutch/harpoon.
