Have both, support both be hard one for me. Need to add imports. I'd also vote for high taxes on all import's sure fix American auto's problems and jobs! edsf100 your going to get me going.
I guess I'm the kinda guy that says, "If there was truly a BEST, it would phase out the worst and it would no longer exist." I have driven/worked on/etc., all the above. I could find something negative and positive about all of them.
My next project is going to be a GM product and I am going to put a dang ford engine in it!
I will probably get some comment on this and I don't have any real issues about this, but I kinda like to see ford engines in ford trucks/cars. And keep the GM stuff in the GM stuff.
And I have no room to talk, cause I was thinking about putting a 1987 Buick Grand National turbocharged/intercooled 3.8L V-6 in my truck!
I know alot of guys with the stuff I would need and I was entertaining the idea, but even with connections its an expensive route to go.
Opinions are like buttholes....Everyone has one...and they all stink!
Old iron is old iron and deserves to be saved no matter what name is branded on it. I don't know why chevy, dodge, studibaker, fargo, international, what ever has to be slammed on here just because it is a ford site. Every American manufacturer is guilty of producing ugly ducklings and outright duds but there are a place for them too. I didn't bother to vote on this matter simply because if another brand should fall my way and could afford to resurrect it, then that would likely be my next project. I might add that both my daily drivers are Chevies.

You said it yourself. IT'S A FORD SITE! We love to slam Chevys!
BTW, I have a Chevy engine in my 48 and I've owned a lot of Chevys. They are just as good as the Fords or any other brand; but, of course, I'd never admit that here!
