Well while fixing my sway bar link,I noticed my drivers side brake line is leaking fluid, looks like its coming out of the line on the left where it goes into that square looking thing where it hooks on the chassis. How do i fix it? 2000 Ranger 2.5
No,,It was on here yesterday and last night it was gone!Someone evidently deleted it,if certain people are not allowed to post images they need to update the rules because it sounds like anybody can....
You know maybe it is my fault, after I posted the image on here I went back to photobucket and deleted all the pictures, would that also take them off here? If so I apologize for the misunderstanding,,,as for my problem it looks like a fairly simple task,I panicked a bit at first because I never replaced a brake line before, looks like I just disconnect it at the master and the little square looking thing and take it to the parts store and have them match it up,my question is will I have to bleed the master or just do it at the caliper?

if you are not allowed to do something it would never have worked in the 1st place. ie. you need 25 posts to create a signature like I have.
Well this isn't as simple of a task as I thought, brake line came off easy now finding a replacement is the hard part.Went to Autozone and they said go to Ford,Ford said they don't make that part, went to Napa they don't make them no more but they did give me a straight line that I have to bend myself somehow.Guess I'll get the channel locks out and see what happens

they sell the hydralic hose part that has the square thing on it. you might want to think about changng that while you are there. You can by plain tubing and bend and flare it or you buy the approximate length with the fitting on it. I think it is 3/16th. You should buy the bending tool for $10. there is a company that makews the prebetn lines. I forget the name but they are mucho costly.
Turns out it wasn't that bad,,a buddie of mine bent it by hand using the old one as a template and did a pretty good job of it,seems to work just fine now.
