going insane....

Damnit....! So I did the door/weatherseal fix so that the doors stop rattling on my 2000 Ex. Now I hear a buch of other rattles within the car and its driving me absolutely insane...

My father drives an 03 Escalade and has no such rattle... WTF!!!!!

I sold my first 2000 Ex due to uncontrollable rattles, and now i have the same issues with this one! HELP PLEASE!!

Just get some mud tires with the big lugs. Even with the radio off you won't hear the noises.

Are you sure they are inside noises or outside noises?

Could be your body mounts?

You'll have to identify what's making that sound and tighten it down.

I had one rattle in my X when I got it. I just had a buddy ride in the back and find it for me. It was a 3rd row seatbelt latch, just buckled it together and no more rattles.

its like a vibration sound coming from either the third row or the spare... but both are tight...

Also a small rattle from within the pillar where my seatbealt lives.

When I took out my 3rd row for a quick run to the bog box store last month - I was amazed how quiet the truck sounded -- almost not a peep over rough rode etc...
