unibody tailgate

I have found a unibody nos tailgate and was wondering what it is worth. Any ideas???

I've seen them go as high as $500 but I'll give you $50 sorry thats all my budget allows for a while. If you want to sell it take a picture and post it in the classifieds here.

I am not trying to sell it am thinking of buying it. The owner has it priced a 300 and I was wondering if that is too high.

If it's clean straight and no rust with the hardware ya it's worth $300. If I had $300 to spend on a tailgate I'd jump on it.

It seems that the reproductions go for $500-700 range, and used ones are hard to find in any shape , so if it is clean and you can afford the investment, buy it if only to resell or eBay it. An ad here would probably get a response from me, as mine is not cherry. Good luck.

Dennis Carpenter has the unibody tailgate for $400. It's a reproduction of course. *** Truck has them for $700. If you want your truck 100% original by all means jump on the $300 tailgate. If you're not too concerned about it being original and the tailgate isn't perfect, I'd spend the $400 and get a new one. That's what I'm going to do.
