What ever they happen to own, of course, but as mechanically they are all the same farm wagons, ………….subjectively the 1956 is the most aesthetically pleasing.
To each their own, but for me personally it's the '56. I do love them all though...

Well, being a previous owner of a 55, a 56, and now the 51, I guess I have to recognize that the 56 is probably considered "The Classic" right up there with the 57 Chevy, the 56 Cadillac "El Dorado", and 32 Ford!
But I really like my 51. It's old, it's cool and it's a little bit different from the "Effies" which sometimes seem a little Cliche to me now.
It really depends on your individual taste and what you want out of the truck!
What is everyone's opinion on what year is considered the best year for the Ford Truck, 48 through 56.
I like the 2 years that you mentioned and the ones in between. I've always liked the 56 foremost because it was the first vehicle I ever owned but didn't get to drive it as I was forced to get rid of it. I do really like the 48-50 and would not likely turn one down if it came my way.
